Take me out to the ballgame!

We did get to see a Yankees game, Greg and Josh say that this was their favorite part of the trip. I can't really say that, but it was exciting to see "The house that Ruth built" even though the Yanks got killed by Tampa Bay. I have also included some more of our "walking tour" through Central Park and up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which by the way I really enjoyed but the rest of the party.....not so much. This stadium as been around for a very long time, it's kind of sad to see a part of history go.
I tried to get a picture of Derek Jeter, but as you can see, it is a little dark.
It looks like we were in the nosebleed section, but believe it or not, there were a lot of people further away than we were.
This is a shot of the new stadium, right across the street from the old one. It will be up and running for next season.
We hiked through a lot of Central Park, which is quite long. For those of you not in the know, this is one of the entrances to the Central Park Zoo, which is the setting for Madagascar.
It was really a beautiful day to be in the park. There were lots of people, walking dogs and playing with their kids. I can't imagine living in a place where the only way to get the kiddos out to play is take them blocks away to one of the parks - and you have to go with them!
This is taken from the steps of the Met. We also walked down this street. Annie thinks she saw Charles Wilkie with his nanny (if you are like me, Annie had to inform me that he is Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker's son). You never know, it could have been him:D

It may be April, but they were still ice skating in Rockefeller square!
Here is Greg and I, standing in front of the metal sculpture, Electric Fountain.
