Answered Prayers!

Frank came through surgery very well and is now on the long road to recovery. We were at the hospital all day yesterday, but the procedure was late getting started so it seemed much longer than it actually was not. Greg and his brother, Brian, stayed with Lavena at the hospital all night so they could see their dad as soon as they were allowed. He looked a little rocky (who wouldn't after what he went through) but it is always reassuring to actually see with your own eyes how things are progressing. Frank will probably be in ICU until Friday - with a three to five day stay on a regular floor. By that time they will probably have to lasso him to keep him down! God is so good, He was and is with us every step of the way.I just had to add a couple of pictures. Ella and Ryder had to be with us at the hospital all day yesterday (about eight hours) and they were champs! Ryder's legs and feet were completely black from the "clean" hospital floors and Ella ate her weight in "sugary" snacks, but who cares? (she doesn't weigh that much) She is pictured here showing her lovely pirate face - if there were sound you would hear a wicked "Arrgh"

This is her rendition of Ham the chimpanzee. (This is from the movie "Space Chimps" for those of you that are out of the loop) I would also like to add that these were NOT taken at the hospital - she did not go pantless there.

I'm so glad you included the pants explanation--I was thinking--Man they are really relaxed--sugar and no pants!
