Happy Haunting!

Since everyone is posting pictures of their precious trick or treaters - thought I would do the same. My pictures are a little older than most of the others :)

This is in 1981. Sally had not even made an appearance yet, but I love this picture. The little bull is my cute nephew, Jake. (As an aside, my sister and I are cut from the same cloth and Jake's daughter, Rylie, is being a cow with this same costume this year) This may have been my favorite Katie Costume. She is a little old lady - complete with Mr. Potato head glasses - which she wore the entire time! Don't you love it when you can dress them like YOU want.

This is circa 1985 and we have a Yukon Miller cheerleader (yes folks, Mandy is a cheerleader and it was her idea!), a mouse, Rainbow Brite, and a movie star.
We are now in 1990 and Mandy had already dropped dressing up - I'm not sure Annie did much trick or treating but they still had a party at school (those were the good old days) You can see here how they had their own ideas, Katie especially. In case you can't tell she is half man half woman and I have no idea where that came from. This year I got to home make all of the costumes and we really did get a lot of mileage out of them. The mermaid costume was even used in a Sud Deb initiation.

I remember that red flapper girl costume! Aunt Debbie kept trying to teach me how to twirl those beads and I was having problems.
