I'm In Love!

With a 69 3/4 inch tall, 25 cubic feet of kitchen appliance better known as "The Refrigerator." Okay, maybe not technically in love, but pretty close after about 4 weeks of living out of ice chests. I've been trying to look on the bright side, it could have been summer which would have ratcheted the misery of "ice chest living" up a few notches since we did just put them on the back porch and they stayed pretty cold. And it only took Greg about 5 1/2 hours to set the thing up. Some people would allow said appliance to be delivered and set up by those who sold the item, but not at our house. We must rise to the challenge of "doing it yourself" once again. Let me stress that I am just explaining and not complaining. I'm thrilled that we are refrigerator owners once again.

I do love this little man - he is demonstrating how much he loves the new fridge with lights and buttons.
Isn't it lovely - I'm hoping this one has a life span of at least 20 years.
I couldn't resist posting a picture of the inside as it will probably never look this organized or empty ever again. Now that I am no longer so melancholy about refrigeratorless living, perhaps my blogging will improve, too. :)

We had a big old fridge like that at our last place, I miss it! Unfortunately we didn't think to measure before buying so when it arrived it was too big. Gregg had to dismantle the cubbords and move them around to make the darn thing fit. Men are insteresting beings, aren't they?

I look forward to all the blogging =o) Enjoy the new fridge!
