Christmas 2007

Well, it has been a busy past week or so. Christmas has come and gone and it is almost 2008! We got to have several great Christmas celebrations, we went to Yukon the weekend before Christmas and had family gatherings with both mine and Greg's folks and families and then back to Woodward. Our girls and their families were with us on Christmas Day. What a wonderful time to be with family and celebrate the birth of our Lord. I talked the Owasso girls into stay a couple of extra days, so I took them home this weekend, so we got to spend some more quality time together. Of course, I took many pictures, some not worth printing, but too many to post them all, so I just picked out a few highlights of our week!

It's Little St. Nick.........We spent the night at my parents in Yukon on December 22 and Pa got to read the "Grinch" story to Sam and Max.

Santa even still comes to Pa and Mimi's house on Christmas Eve.......
He knows just where to find all the good little boys and girls! (And even some of the not so good ones )
Can't you tell these people are excited about getting ready to open presents.
Max got some gifts that he had to keep away from the little people (too many small parts) so he had to play in the corner, sometimes it is nice to have an excuse not to share :)
The two little guys in the family like to hang out together.
Greg got something to keep both his head and his popcorn warm!
You have to know our Sam to realize how excited he was to get a gum ball machine, he is a gum chewing champion!

We got the kids these cool little riding toys and they had to go out in the yard and close their eyes to get them. They had a fun time riding them, and as you can see.....

These toys were not just for kids anymore. Their mamas had a pretty good time riding around also! Go, speed racer! We also found out that we had quite a few "Guitar Heroes" in the family. Chad's birthday is December 27, so the girls badgered Mandy into giving him his birthday gift early so everyone could play.
And we all played out hearts out. Jason is cool enough to play sitting down. I think we might just have some budding rock stars in the family!
