This is the last NYC post, I promise!

I know, I have gotten enough mileage out of our New York vacation, but these are the last ones I am posting. They are just some random shots that I thought were fun or interesting or unique to big city life. There are street performers all around the city. We saw singers, instrument players (Greg particularly liked the harmonica player), break dancers, and several of these "statue" people as we called them. Do you think a person can make a living doing this?
They are rather more limited for space than we are, but hey, just get some hydraulic lifts and double the space in parking lots:D

Greg insisted on posing with this end of the bull, because he said it was more representative of the nature of his wall street investments!
These signs were just posted at random places around the city, and along the sidewalk, too. I must admit, there weren't too many New Yorkers just standing around, they were walking, very quickly, I might add.We decided to take a tour bus around town on our last day. The kind where you sit on top to get the full effect of the sights. It would have been a great idea except for one minor inconvenience, it was in the forty degree range, with a very blustery wind. Let's just say, we were so busy freezing, that we really didn't appreciate the experience.
I have always been fascinated with the brownstone houses (like the ones on the Cosby show) so I was excited to see these. I really would have liked to have gotten to go inside, but since the townhouses and the phrase "trust fund baby" seemed to go hand in hand, I figured I about as much chance of seeing the inside of one of these as I have of training for the space program! There are definitely a lot of wealthy people in Manhattan. We did splurge our last night, and purchase some "pricey" cheese cake from Roxy's. Annie looks like she is enjoying hers, doesn't she?
And I leave you with Pa's impression of Ryder! Have a great rest of the weekend!

I have enjoyed all your New York pics. I think it's interesting to see how things are in different places. I need to get out of Woodward more often.
