Mother's Day Thoughts

I guess I am feeling a little sentimental, but it really seems impossible that another year has flown by. I am amazed when I really ponder the many blessings God has given me. My own mother is such a special woman and I was truly blessed to have been privileged to have been raised by her. I didn't think anything could be better than being given four wonderful daughters to raise, but I was wrong. As I see the young women they have become and the incredible mothers that they are to my grandchildren, I realize just how life just keeps getting sweeter. And that is not even mentioning my fantastic grandchildren:)

I also have been thinking about my niece, Ashley, as she and JJ await the arrival of baby Kain. Her pregnancy has been a little rocky, but things are going well and I am so excited for them. I know that Ashley will be an awesome mom and Kain will be a lucky little fella.
I also want to brag about another great mom and friend, my sister, Debbie. She can really do many things, but she is one of the most talented seamstresses I know! She has helped me out in this area more times than I can remember. I know I have mentioned earlier that Kain is having a OSU nursery. The hunt for ready made bedding proved fruitless, so my wonderful sister, and Kain's grandmother, just whipped some up, bumper pads and all! So, of course, I had to post some pictures of the bedding and the neat furniture just waiting for baby Kain.

The last two pictures I really like, so I just decided to include them also.
You all know that our Ryder man is a big strong guy, but he still hasn't gotten the hang of crawling! JJ is trying to do some crawling instruction here, but it didn't stick.
Anyone who knows Ella knows she is quite a character. I was looking for her at her house the other day and this is what I found. She really likes her television and there is one in her toy room. What she really likes to do is turn it around backwards, stand in the corner, and watch cartoons. Do you think her parents have put her in the corner so much that she is beginning to like it there ? :)
