Kain Joseph Dossett is here!

God is so good! Many of you are aware that my niece, Ashley, and her husband, JJ, have been experiencing problems with Ash's first pregnancy. She has had low amniotic fluid, and has been on bed rest most of this last trimester. Well, this morning, around 7:30 am, Kain made his entrance into the world, via c-section. He was about three and a half weeks early and there was concern about his size. Many prayers were lifted up for this sweet family. Kain weighed in at 5lbs. 9 ozs. (not sure of his length) and he is doing wonderful. He spent a few hours in the NICU, really so they could watch his breathing a bit (Sam and Coop both had to do this and their moma's pregnancies were uneventful). He is beautiful, yes I said it, the boy is beautiful and we couldn't be more thrilled. I, unfortunately, left my camera in Woodward, so I have no pictures to post, but I'm fairly confident if you check Katie's blog or Kain's (posted by Aunt Amy) there will be pictures soon! Why, I ask myself, are we surprised when God answers prayer? We are so thankful and give Him praise for this new little miracle!
