Mow, Mow, Mow Your Lawn!

I know that I have mentioned that I love fall, the crisp air, cooler temperatures, fall smells (yes - I think fall smells good) and of course pumpkins. Greg also loves fall, but for a completely different reason - it is the end of lawn mowing season! I took these pictures on what Greg hopes is the last time he will mow in 2008! (As an aside, I know this text is underlined and I don't know why, are you reading this, Katie?)

I think that Max actually thinks he is helping with the mowing...
Just taking a breather - it's hard work you know, riding that mower around, and around, and around...
There are those that see the lawn mower as purely a recreational vehicle.

I must leave you on this note. Boys and girls may be different, but boys can be dramatic. Sam just pulled a rather small "sticker" out of his toe (it may have fallen out on it's own - that's how hardly attached it was) but he road the "my toe is DYING" horse for a looong time. This from the boy who picked up the snake, go figure :)

Love the mowing pics...my boys do that with my dad too!

As for the sticker incident, Caden is the same way. You would think we had to amputate his foot with out drugs, every time he gets a sticker!

Sam's picture is priceless! We have one of those in our family...Little Miss Avery!

It drives me crazy how Sam acts about stickers! One time our neighbor lady came running outside because she thought a child was seriously hurt, more like I was getting ready to seriously hurt a child!

That last photo is quite funny. However, Austin is the same way and it's not nearly as amusing when it's your own child acting that way.

This is completely unrelated to this post, but I just saw the most AMAZING pictures that an incredibly talented person must have painted at her church! Do you know who that lady might have been? Oh my word! You are crazy talented!

I can't stop laughing at the picture of Sam...he's just like his mama!! It reminds me of something Avery would do.

LOL...My boys are the same way, they always argue over who gets to ride the mower with Mom or Dad. I have a feeling that Sam and Ian would get along great...Ian is a bit on the dramatic side too! :-)
