I Love Thanksgiving!

I'm sure that everyone sometimes feels as if we skip right over Thanksgiving into Christmas, but I wanted to take a moment to reflect on all of the wonderful things in my life and to say what an awesome Thanksgiving our family enjoyed. Every other year we get together with my mother's side of the family. These are people who have played an important role in my life and I really miss them. Since we only do these things every other year and some folks can't make it then - there are members of my family I haven't seen in years. I know that it is not a big deal to the younger family members, but the older I get the more I cherish precious memories. We were fortunate enough to have our get together at my cousins church and it was amazing and beautiful. The fellowship hall is so nice with comfortable chairs for all the "seasoned" people, a gym for anyone so inclined to venture there, and a fantastic kitchen. Some of you may have noticed that, yes, we are sporting name tags in our picture, but when you have 95 people in attendance there might be a name or two that slips your mind :) Unfortunately, my wonderful husband had to work and we missed him! Now you can see why we needed to meet in a church. I have more blessings than I can count and I thank God daily for my amazing family. I have way too many pictures, but I wanted to post a bunch so, again, I have included a slide show. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
