Max Turns 6!

I am a terrible Mimi, my wonderful oldest grandson had a birthday yesterday and I didn't get anything posted about it. Mandy posted some nostalgic pictures so I put some up of the partyIt was a big day - soccer started - and between the three kids, I got to see six games in one day, the joys of soccer. Max had a great 2nd game - he scored 4 goals! His dad was trying to motivate him, offering one dollar a goal, he may have to rethink that one or take out a loan. The birthday party was that evening at the park and I must say a birthday party full of little boys is quite busy!
With the playground right next to the lake, nothing would do except to check out the water, the rocks, the potential fish, etc. I was afraid I might have to dust off the old life guard skills.
Then on to the toys (I might add here that Max wanted to invite just one little girl, she came and didn't seem to mind being the only girl) I guess Emily was there, but I'm not sure Max considered her a girl.
Max wanted a pinata. Now there's a great activity - blind folded boys armed with a baseball bat!
Presents, presents, you can never have too many presents!
A great time was had by all, as you can see by the expression on Ben's squeaky clean face !

Looks like everyone had a great time! I'm really glad the weather cooperated with the special party. I'm sure I will get my fair share of all boy parties!

What fun! I do believe hosting boys could be dangerous!
